So with Christmas brought some new beauty/fashion products for me to try so I thought I’d tell you about a couple that I am already loving.

Michael Kors signature fragrance

This was a present from my wonderful husband who, like every Christmas, spoiled me with lots of lovely gifts. He bought me a couple of perfumes; Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream was one, which I absolutely love but it will be more of a summer scent, and the other is the Michael Kors signature fragrance. After working in a fragrance house for over 2 years, I have a somewhat good amount of knowledge of fragrances, but this Michael Kors one was one I had not smelt before. The bottle is very simplistic, nothing too over the top which to me looks better than any of those insanely glitzy bottles. So on to the scent, wow I can’t even describe it, literally. Although my two years of working with fragrances got me aware of quite a few brands and scents, I still cannot figure out what a fragrance smells like so here’s the description from the Michael Kors website “Top notes of spice and incense mingle with blue orris and peony, anchored by earthy vetiver”. The scent is just amazing, nothing like anything else in my collection but it is definitely one of my new favourites. What I love most about it is, how strong it is with only a couple of sprays. One day I was wearing it and when my husband returned home from work he said it was the first thing he could smell when he walked in the door. I’ll be honest though, there is one thing I really can’t stand about it, and that is that it doesn’t spray properly. This is probably just a dodgy bottle so don't let me put you off but it is irritating because of instead of spraying out in a nice spritz it’s sprays out like a water gun. Yes it’s annoying but I can get over it because it is just so amazing. Here is the link to the Michael Kors website if you want to check it out yourself.

Cluse Watch

Next up is the new watch I treated myself to with the money my dad gave me for my birthday. I found out about this brand, Cluse, through social media and I instantly fell in love after seeing one of their watches. Within that same hour I had visited their website, found the watch I wanted and bought it for only €89.95 (roughly £70). I love impulse buys and this is definitely one of my best ones yet. When I returned home from my trip to the States it had arrived and boy do I love it. It’s glamourous and elegant but at the same time is wonderfully simple and clean. The watch is rose gold with a neutral grey strap and the face is dazzling white. What’s best about these watches is that the straps are interchangeable (the leather straps only) which means my slight hesitation about if I wanted a grey or mint green strap doesn't matter as I can now have both. Unfortunately, the mint green strap is currently out of stock but I will be purchasing this as soon as it’s back! This is the link to the Cluse website if you want to have a look at all the other colours and styles that they offer.

Nike Trainers

So these were a little treat to myself for my birthday and as I have mentioned in one of my other blogs, my trainers did need an update. I went to a store in America called DSW which stands for Designer Shoe Warehouse because they have great prices on lots of big brands like Nike. I originally wanted somemore Free Run's but after spotting the mint green out of the corner of my eye, I had to try these on. These are Nike Flex's and the cushioning inside them is far better than that of the Free Run's so with the colour being my favourite and them feeling super comfy, I was sold! An added bonus was that they were in the sale AND i had a $10 off coupon from an email that DSW had sent me for my birthday, talk about a good deal. They ended up costing me less than $60 (just over £40) which to me is an absolute bargain for some Nike trainers!

No!No!

And finally onto the No!No! hair removal device. This was a gift I received from my mum for Christmas and it’s something I’ve been wanting to try for a number of years now. It's meant to, over time, make your hair growth slow down which means that you don't have to shave as much. Unfortunately for this blog, I can't say too much as it takes 4-6 weeks to start seeing results, but stay tuned for the blog when I give the No!No! a full review!

Couldn't resist posting a cheesy photo from my trip to finish of this weeks blog. I hope you enjoyed it and let me know if you have any new fashion favs that you want me to try out and review! Until next week :)
