Shine Bright Like A Diamond

This week I wanted to tell you about some amazing products that are guaranteed to make you feel like a thousand bucks.

I mentioned last week that I was going to tell you all about the amazing new face product that I have been using over the past couple months...so here goes. It's called Liquid Gold and it's from beauty brand, Alpha H. I had seen a few articles about this product and about how good it was so decided to have a little look into it. I found it on some sites for about £30 but then I came across Beauty Bay who were offering a 2 for 1 offer, making it a lot more affordable. (Unfortunately this offer has now finished) Liquid Gold contains Glycolic Acid which helps to restart the skin's metabolism, decrease pore size and overall gives the face a brighter complexion. You apply a few drops of Liquid Gold to a cotton bud and smooth it all over your freshly washed face. After this you then apply a moisturiser to your face however if you want a more intense treatment then don't apply anything after the Liquid Gold. This is the approach I took because I wanted to see how it worked so every time I applied it, I DIDN'T apply moisturiser after. This can be done as often as every other day but Alpha H don't recommend using it everyday. This is great for making the product last and I have found that you don't use much at all for each application. After just a few treatments, I could really see the difference in my pores and overall brightness of my face. I've always struggled with quite large pores on my cheeks and nose, however after using Liquid Gold, these have dramatically reduced. I have also had very few breakouts, even when indulging in sweets and chocolate for a couple weeks while the Hubs was here, so I am very impressed. I am so glad I bought 2 bottles of the stuff now, I think that Liquid Gold has definitely made it into my face care regime.

So we've beautified our faces so next up is the rest of our bodies. Living in England makes it's pretty hard to get a good tan even in the summer months however others may struggle with this too during winter months. So rather than harming your body by going on the sunbeds, I have found a better way that you can get that tanned look all year round. Tanning oil...okay I know this is old news and tanning creams and lotions have been around for years but I think I have found the best one out there. I have never been confident when using tanning products, as I just felt they always seem to go wrong and get EVERYWHERE however this one is different! St. Tropez Luxe Oil offers a new style of tanning, one that doesn't require you to be an expert applicator. St. Tropez recommend using the tanning mitt which I didn't do on my first attempt and suffered the consequences, but every other time I have used the mitt to apply and it's been streak-free tanning galore! Another great thing about this product is that it develops over a few hours and then just washes off meaning if you want a bit of a tan for a night out, you can just apply it that morning. Yay, no need for overnight developing and tan stained bed sheets! After the success of the oil, St. Tropez brought out a facial oil however I haven't tested this yet.

Face. Check. Body. Check. It's now time to make that bling sparkle. There's nothing worse than buying a really pretty piece of jewellery and then watching it slowly lose its lovely shine...well that's where the Diamond Dazzle Stik comes in.

This product works wonders for making those diamonds shine bright again, and it comes in a handy little pen-sized applicator. Just remove the cap, twist the bottom to reveal some of the super-duper serum and apply to any diamond. Then rinse your jewellery with warm water and ta-dah, its as good as new! I found out about this amazing little product from my step-brother's girlfriend who works in a jewellers, so it won't harm your jewellery!

I tested it on a few people's rings at work (above) however it's hard to get across how good it is in a photo.
